Cleaning is Essential, Not an Added Expense

There is probably not many companies that are not financially hit by the current economic downturn. Budgets are reviewed and service providers scrutinised for the service they provide and the cost at which they provide it.

One such service is cleaning. As an ‘invisible’ service to our clients, our work is mainly done in the evening, or sometimes early morning, when staff are not in the office. Grit & Salt Gets Everywhere!!!

Although gritting the roads, paths and carparks is absolutely essential this time of year, the grit and salt in it can cause havoc with carpets and floor inside our offices.

We would recommend a carpet clean to either all the walkways in your building or a full carpet clean of all carpets before spring is upon us! We can then set up a regular programme of carpet cleaning so we manage your carpets for you and they are periodically cleaned at weekends to suit you.

Shipshape Say Farewell to Area Supervisor

Today we have said goodbye to our Area Supervisor Tony Moore.  Tony has been with the Company for 5 years, being promoted to Area Supervisor after a year with Shipshape.  He has played an important role in the growth of the Company and has seen many changes that have taken place within that time.  Tony has gone for a complete career change as UK Installation Engineer for a hearing aid company.  We thank Tony for his hard work and commitment to Shipshape and we wish him well for the future.

Window, Fascia & Sofits and Gutter Cleaning is a service that we can offer either as a one-off blitz clean of these areas or windows can be scheduled in on a regular basis, with the Fascias, Soffits and Guttering less often.

Floor Sealing improves the longevity of a hard floor surface and makes it easier to clean and the cleaning is more effective.  We can provide this service to new or old floors.  Where slip issues occur on a hard floor, we can seal with specialist ant-slip floor treatments which comply with HSE guidelines.  See link above.

PC Cleaning is a service we can provide to ensure keyboards and PC’s are cleaned and germ free.  It is good practice to have equipment regularly cleaned to prolong the life of it and for hygiene reasons.  This service can be carried out after hours for minimal disruption to the business. 

Carpet Cleaning can be done out of hours or at weekends, this can range from a full clean of carpets throughout the building or just particular carpets in high traffic areas. 

Blind Cleaning can make a huge difference to the ‘look’ of windows, especially this time of year when dust has built up on them over the summer with windows being open and now this time of year with spiderwebs.

It is a good idea to incorporate these services into the overall cleaning schedule so regular visits will keep all areas, not just the cleaners areas, in top condition.
