Shipshape Cleaning has years of experience of builders clean projects. Our Cleaning Site Managers are CSCS registered and First Aid Trained.

We can cover developments in Bucks, Berks, Oxon, Surrey and London.

We can quote off the development plans or by a site visit. We can provide a total cost of the cleaning for your project. The price would include all the cleans required, from initial builders cleans on each plot to a reclean after the first round of snagging to sparkle cleans and pre-occupation cleans. Pricing will be clear and can be broken down into cleans for clarity and to work within your budget for cleaning.

Additional services can be included, such as:

- Window Cleaning – both builders clean and recleans if required

- Fascias, Soffit & Gutter cleaning

- Cleaning of all the communal areas, cycle stores, car ports, bin stores etc, etc.

As part of a cleaning contract we would look at your window cleaning and schedule in regular visits to do internal/external glass, we can do annual cleans of hard to reach areas with high access equipment and also ad-hoc cleans of fascias, soffits and guttering.

With on-site cleaning contracts, we supply our teams with extendable and long handled dusters to get to those hard to reach areas and banish those horrible cobwebs that linger in corners. On our cleaning schedule as part of the contract documentation we ensure all areas of the office are dusted, even the hard to reach areas such as attriums, landings, stairwells so they don’t look dirty when the sun shines…..

Snow is disappearing…..but are you ready for next time?

At Shipshape we can now offer a service through one of our trusted sub-contractors for gritting sites.

A lot of businesses were caught ill prepared for the amount of snow we have had over the last couple of weeks and before Christmas.

Some employees in businesses around High Wycombe, where we are based, could get into work using main roads reasonably easily as they were gritted by the council. The problem occured for most, struggling in the snowy industrial estates and work carparks.

We can offer two types of service, proactive and reactive gritting.

Being proactive, we can offer an automated gritting call-out service on a contract. Under this type of service weather websites are checked and gritting takes place automatically should temperatures be below zero.

Our reactive service is on demand gritting. This is subject to timings and costs and scope for gritting must be agreed prior to a call out.

Gritting takes place between 6pm and 6am the following day. Salt will be applied to all areas specified in the quotation once during each call out. Snow clearing is not normally included in the quotations but can also be arranged and quoted for as part of the contract.

You may well think that this is not a priority now we have (hopefully) seen the last of the heavy snow fall but to have this contract in place ready for when this occurs next time makes good sense for your business and the health & safety of your employees.

We strive to not just get the cleaning right for our clients but aim to be flexible, helpful and knowledgeable in all areas of facilities management. In the current economic market we want to make organising your additional services as easy and cost effective as possible and just receiving one invoice.

We are delighted to announce a couple of new services we can now offer.

PAT Testing and Fixed Wiring Testing

PAT Testing has to be done at least annually to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. This is to protect employees, pupils and the business. Failure to test appliances can result in heavy fines, increased insurance premiums and even business closure.

Fixed Wiring Testing this has to be conducted every 3 years in industrial premises and every 5 years in offices. Again, to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. We will ensure that all the fixed wiring in an electrical installation is safe to use. All installations are examined for compliance with the latest British Safety Standards to insure you are and can demonstrate compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations.
