At Shipshape we are always thinking of ways to ‘add value’ to our clients cleaning contract. The more we research methods, products, industry news, innitatives and innovations, the more we come up with improvements or additional services for our clients.
We listen to what our clients want and we find it for them. This then enables all the clients in our portfolio to benefit. We are also forward thinking and want our services to move with the times and be tailored to our clients individual needs.
Our current innovative idea for our clients is to offer them free battery recycling. We see it as an important service, enabling companies to recycle their batteries and stop them going into landfill and polluting the environment.
It is also a service that is an add on to their cleaning contract that costs them no more money!

We are always looking at ways to market to potential customers, some like to receive an email link to our fantastic website, however, we acknowledge that some people like to receive our literature and company information through the post.
After we had redesigned our website last summer, we decided that our brochure needed a revamp too. We had designed our website in such a way that it developed our corprate brand and we created a theme running through its pages.
Using the our design ideas from the website, we have started from scratch and created a new brochure that also reflects our corporate brand.
We held off producing them earlier on in the year due to an imminent office move and we also wanted them to include all our current accrediations.
We are very pleased with our resulting new Shipshape Cleaning brochure and we will happily send one out to you on request.

As a company we send all our current clients and interested parties, a quarterly newsletter detailing what is new at Shipshape Cleaning over the last quarter. Our most recent newsletter was emailed out last week.
In our latest copy, we have covered topics such as new office staff, news and accreditations.
Shipshape Cleaning is an exciting, well established but evolving company who keeps abreast of new ideas. Ensuring that we keep our clients up to date with what we are doing and any new services we are offering to make their life easier.

At Shipshape we are now taking on contracts both locally and on a national level.
We can service your office in our local area of Bucks, Berks and Oxon, but if you have offices outside our area too, we are now in a position to look after your requirements further afield. The advantage is, you benefit from our excellent service standards in your local office and in your other national offices. We will also put all the cleaning costs on one monthly invoice to Head Office.
We can visit you to assess your requirements nationwide and put together a proposal for all your sites individual needs.

Our news this week, apart from our pending move, is our recent ISO9001 accreditation. We received our certificate and plaque this week and are looking forward to displaying these in our new office.
We were assessed two weeks ago after our initial meeting with ISO Assessors back in July, when we decided to start the process. We were pleased with our recent meeting and it was recommended on the day that we should receive the accrediation.
We are really thrilled that all the hard work has paid off and we have learn’t a lot in the process.
The ISO9001 framework will continue in our business as we will strive to improve and use it to move the business forward.

Due to expansion of the business, we are moving offices.
But don’t worry, we are only moving down the road…..
Our new office will be at : Unit 10, Ground Floor, Anglo Office Business Park, Lincoln Road, High Wycombe.
We are moving in next week, details will be emailed out to all our clients, contractors and suppliers shortly.

Due to the ongoing expansion of the business, Shipshape Cleaning are looking for candidates for two new roles within the company that are being created to enhance our current team.
The first position is for a Contracts Manager who will be partially office based and will be on the road visiting our clients and sites on a regular basis. They will be involved in our company training programme, our recruitment process, monitor service levels and be involved in the management and regular reviews of our contracts.
We are also looking for a Marketing Administrator to assist the Business Development Manager with aspects of the company’s Marketing plan and provide support creating Sales & Marketing documentation.
These positions will assist greatly in our continued success and we look forward to these two new members of staff joining our team.

We are pleased to present the Shipshape Cleaning Employee of the Year award to Carla Tredwell.
Carla has worked with Shipshape Cleaning since the beginning and is a valued employee. Carla manages a team on one of our larger sites and keeps everything working smoothly.
We did the presentation on Thursday night when she came with the office team to Waddesdon Manor for Christmas Dinner.
A great time was had by all, pictures to follow…
