As part of a cleaning contract we would look at your window cleaning and schedule in regular visits to do internal/external glass, we can do annual cleans of hard to reach areas with high access equipment and also ad-hoc cleans of fascias, soffits and guttering.
With on-site cleaning contracts, we supply our teams with extendable and long handled dusters to get to those hard to reach areas and banish those horrible cobwebs that linger in corners. On our cleaning schedule as part of the contract documentation we ensure all areas of the office are dusted, even the hard to reach areas such as attriums, landings, stairwells so they don’t look dirty when the sun shines…..

Our news this week, apart from our pending move, is our recent ISO9001 accreditation. We received our certificate and plaque this week and are looking forward to displaying these in our new office.
We were assessed two weeks ago after our initial meeting with ISO Assessors back in July, when we decided to start the process. We were pleased with our recent meeting and it was recommended on the day that we should receive the accrediation.
We are really thrilled that all the hard work has paid off and we have learn’t a lot in the process.
The ISO9001 framework will continue in our business as we will strive to improve and use it to move the business forward.

Due to the ongoing expansion of the business, Shipshape Cleaning are looking for candidates for two new roles within the company that are being created to enhance our current team.
The first position is for a Contracts Manager who will be partially office based and will be on the road visiting our clients and sites on a regular basis. They will be involved in our company training programme, our recruitment process, monitor service levels and be involved in the management and regular reviews of our contracts.
We are also looking for a Marketing Administrator to assist the Business Development Manager with aspects of the company’s Marketing plan and provide support creating Sales & Marketing documentation.
These positions will assist greatly in our continued success and we look forward to these two new members of staff joining our team.

At Shipshape we can now offer a service through one of our trusted sub-contractors for gritting sites.
A lot of businesses were caught ill prepared for the amount of snow we have had over the last couple of weeks and before Christmas.
Some employees in businesses around High Wycombe, where we are based, could get into work using main roads reasonably easily as they were gritted by the council. The problem occured for most, struggling in the snowy industrial estates and work carparks.
We can offer two types of service, proactive and reactive gritting.
Being proactive, we can offer an automated gritting call-out service on a contract. Under this type of service weather websites are checked and gritting takes place automatically should temperatures be below zero.
Our reactive service is on demand gritting. This is subject to timings and costs and scope for gritting must be agreed prior to a call out.
Gritting takes place between 6pm and 6am the following day. Salt will be applied to all areas specified in the quotation once during each call out. Snow clearing is not normally included in the quotations but can also be arranged and quoted for as part of the contract.
You may well think that this is not a priority now we have (hopefully) seen the last of the heavy snow fall but to have this contract in place ready for when this occurs next time makes good sense for your business and the health & safety of your employees.

The snow is on the ground still and High Wycombe has been particularly badly hit this time.
Main roads are fine now and are pretty clear but minor roads can still be slippery in this area, especially on hills.
As long as there is no more snow fall, roads will be better from now on.
Shipshape Cleaning offices are open daily.
